GREAT LOSS FOR ST. ALBERT
Mr. Gaston Bouchard, a community minded
resident, (although still a comparative
newcomer after 4 years), is leaving our
town this coming Friday to take up resi-
dence in Windsor, Ontario. Although not:
too well known, Mr. Bouchard has planned
and worked for community affairs and
done a lot for St. Albert behind the
scenes. Mrs. Bouchard also served in
many community organizations and was al-|
ways a willing worker. Both of them hat}
to leave their many friends in St. Al-
bert, but with this promotion Mr. Bouc!
ard will become the manager of one of
Kresge's most modern stores in Canada.
‘Their home was always open to everyone
and we wonder if the Bouchard family
ever had a supper without guests!
We wish Gaston, his wife and their fan-
ily all the best, and we thank then for
all they have done for our conmunity.

Several entertaining games preceded the
opening of the miscellaneous gifts
which were drawn from a tartan draped
wishing well. Members of the Guiders
and the Altar Society assisted the hos—
tesses in serving a sumptuous lunch.
Miss Blair's wedding to Dr. J. M. Venne
will take place on July 13, in St. Al~
bert Roman Catholic Church.

It is incomprehensible to my associates,
